So I told you yesterday that I had visited my friend Lois and brought home one of her really cool purses... I had given her some tapestry fabric some time ago and here is a purse (mine!) that she made from it...
Check out the beautiful gold leaf she hung from it...
And here is my first attempt at making these cute fabric flowers I found in Stampington's Green Craft Magazine...
Not bad for a first time, I guess, but Maize Hutton definitely has it down!
Love the flowers!!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful way to use special fabrics!!!
Of course, I can always use another purse!
Nothing says spring like Flowers! Yours are lovely, I bet it's not easy to make just a couple :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous purse your talented friend made for you Dianne! I bet you're going to really enjoy carrying that!
Happy Spring!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful frayed flowers, Dianne. I think yours look as professionally done as those you went by. And what a fantastic purse your friend made for you. The tapestry fabric is gorgeous.
