I'm trying to get ready to set up a booth at a local wine fest Saturday, September 25th. I used to sell Florida foods (Key Lime honey, sauces, citrus jellies, mango marinades and chutney, etc) at this wine festival several years ago and always did well. Now it's time to see how the tasting crowd likes my art! Hence, the grapes, which I have more sketched out to paint... and flowers and birds and I'm even going to try some miniatures!
I've already ordered my table (since I'd given mine from before away... won't do that again). In the meantime, I have to get some shutters, nice coated wire mesh or something else to hang my paintings on. I also have to get a bicycle for my grandson's fourth birthday... His party is this coming Saturday. Busy month!
As long as they're not 'The Grapes Of Wrath'! lol :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful pieces Dianne, your titles are really good too!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a show for a deadline to get your paint brush moving
Hope the show is a big hit!
Happy Sunday

I especially love your beautiful birds! Such clean and crisp colors, just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I love the first one. It is a little green heron?
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with your venture selling your art work, it is lovely so I'm sure you will do well. Although your food sounds great such as Key Lime honey!
ReplyDeleteThese are nice pieces. It looks like you've been very busy!
ReplyDeleteThese pieces are lovely. You have been busy. I was amazed at how quickly you painted and framed these beauties. I am certain they will be a big hit at the wine festival.
