  5. Your haiku matches perfectly to the photo. We are seeing a lot of movement out on the highways by the fawns and deer this Summer. The food in the forests must be abundant with the growing season this year and they are cris-crossing the road like crazy. I rarely ride the motorcycle near dusk or dawn. Would hate to crash for sure. Wonderful photo find.

  6. i love deer. and just look at those long-lashed eyes! i've often thought i'm glad i don't live in a time or place where i would have to shoot one in order to survive... this photo and haiku reminds me of "The Yearling."
