I can just hear the hum of the feathered song as I read this. Have a wonderful week-end.
ReplyDeleteI can hear that feathered song!
ReplyDeleteI've been watching the hummingbiords here at the feeder. We don't have too many, but the ones we do have are not at all shy. they come and sip the sweetnectar even if we are standing on the deck just a few feet away. I am always amazed at how fast they flap their wings.
ReplyDeleteYour haiku mentions the symphony, the vibration, the song, made by these intrugueing birds. Good stuff.
Peace
Pretty, Dianne. Hope your holiday is everything you want it to be. Susan
ReplyDeleteI adore hummingbirds...and when they are captured in flight like this...just stunning!
ReplyDeleteI love this 'melodious' haiku!
ReplyDeleteThis is really, really beautiful Dianne - one of your best, yet.
ReplyDeletep.s. (leave it to you to know just what to do artistically with crepe myrtle stars :)
Love those quick, bright, brilliant birds!
ReplyDeleteHave a great holiday weekend !

ReplyDeleteoh i love this!
This is a breathtaking photo that my own camera doesn't have the capacity to capture, but I'm glad the photographer did. Your haiku fits beautifully.
ReplyDeleteOne of my first sights today was a hummingbird hovering outside my window. For me, seeing one is like seeing a rainbow or a ring around the moon...so special! Love it!
ReplyDeletelovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. This is magical.
