  2. I've been watching the hummingbiords here at the feeder. We don't have too many, but the ones we do have are not at all shy. they come and sip the sweetnectar even if we are standing on the deck just a few feet away. I am always amazed at how fast they flap their wings.
    Your haiku mentions the symphony, the vibration, the song, made by these intrugueing birds. Good stuff.

  10. One of my first sights today was a hummingbird hovering outside my window. For me, seeing one is like seeing a rainbow or a ring around the moon...so special! Love it!
