Newly Finished Painting...

Remember these backgrounds?

I finished one...

Poison Dart Frog 1: mixed media - oil and archival ink (rubber stamped moth and journaling) on acrylic and clear gesso washed and sealed vintage dictionary page over 6x6 inch masonite board.
The other one is a bit more than half finished.

  1. I can't believe how long it's been since I visited. I feel bad, because you always manage to drop by. Although I've been offline for two days (yes, I schedule my posts), it is still no excuse.

Your frog is stunning. I thought your frog was quite well done, and the color was perfect. It's always fun to see complimentary colors together. It sure made the frog pop right off the page!

BTW, that trumpet vine in the post below could be from my back yard. The fence mine is on is newer, but it is basically the same. At first I thought it WAS from my back yard (grin). I keep trying to eradicate mine because it is incredibly invasive.
