Remember these backgrounds?
I finished one...
Poison Dart Frog 1: mixed media - oil and archival ink (rubber stamped moth and journaling) on acrylic and clear gesso washed and sealed vintage dictionary page over 6x6 inch masonite board.
The other one is a bit more than half finished.
I can't believe how long it's been since I visited. I feel bad, because you always manage to drop by. Although I've been offline for two days (yes, I schedule my posts), it is still no excuse.
ReplyDeleteYour frog is stunning. I thought your frog was quite well done, and the color was perfect. It's always fun to see complimentary colors together. It sure made the frog pop right off the page!
BTW, that trumpet vine in the post below could be from my back yard. The fence mine is on is newer, but it is basically the same. At first I thought it WAS from my back yard (grin). I keep trying to eradicate mine because it is incredibly invasive.
Dear Dianne this is a great piece of art - love the splash of red on the green background. Very fun. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour Poison Dart Frog looks so real dear Dianne...super on your pretty green background too!
ReplyDeleteoxo
Happy October!
Hi Dianne...

Hugs & hopes for peace & love,
Susie
