Great photo! I can't decide which ones to photograph this time of year. Every day brings more colors and change. The reds, oranges, goldens, ambers, browns and the mixture of all. If I am not mistaken, traditional haiku is suppose to have a seasonal reference and you nailed that right on target! Thanks for posting this, it is pleasing to the eye and heart.
change is undeniable... in dying one lives as a leaf... just yesterday we were looking up at the trees and the leaves changing from green to orange to red.... thank you
You found some fall COLOR! I did too, at a local park this morning. A lone red maple flaming scarlett all by herself in the middle of a swamp. Love your Florida fall haiku.
You really have caught the essence of autumn in your photo and words - I love the glorious colours that autumn gives. Right now we have the acid-green of spring. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
living up here in the North, I sometimes forget that autumn can be more subtle elsewhere ! ;) This is gorgeous. Thanks for the wonderful blog love you gave me on your recent visits. It is so very appreciated. Have a wonderful trip !

ReplyDeleteI love the word "persimmon." I'm so excited to see it in your haiku (ok, so I'm a dork).
